Craig Schulze – Make Your One Shot Your Best Shot
Craig Schulze is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of the One Shot Movement. He left home at 15, put himself through engineering college, chose to fire his boss, and eventually purchased his first fitness club at 21. From there, he owned 5 fitness clubs and established 22 franchises, on top of being recognized as a multi-award-winning fitness trainer and businessman.
But things weren’t always easy. His business took a severe hit during the global financial crisis, coupled with the loss of his first child pushed him to do things differently. He realized that all of us have just one shot at life and we need to make the best out of it by living a life of passion and purpose.
And that’s when he decided to launch the One Shot movement through books, and podcasts to inspire and educate people to give their best shot at life.
The One Shot Movement
Craig Schulze started the One Shot movement after a major downfall in his life both financially and emotionally. Though the loss was heartbreaking for him, it gave his life a new turn altogether.
He started business coaching through various mediums. He started with the book, “You’ve got one shot”, then launched a podcast, online shows, keynote speaking, and much more to put forth his message with conviction and sincerity.
Over the years he has helped a slew of entrepreneurs become sought-after leaders in their industry through his market leader framework, which is a simple roadmap built through the combination of leveraging tangible assets and building a strong brand presence.
Owning Up to Responsibilities in the Face of Challenges
As humans, it is second nature to us to blame others or situations for everything that goes wrong in life, instead of owning up to it. Craig Schulze believes in an old saying by his principal,” If it is to be, it is up to me.” He believes that whatever challenges arise in your life, things become easier if you own up to them and take responsibility.
As a fitness trainer, he always told his clients that if you can’t find the time for exercising, you should find time for illness. Therefore, he aptly points out the fact that you are the only person responsible for whatever happens in your life.
Speak your Truth
There are several situations, figures of authority, or an ongoing narrative in the mainstream media, that makes it difficult for a person to speak their truth. But in the end, your truth is the only thing that matters and gives you power and freedom. Craig Schulze highlights that he has always believed in calling a spade a spade and the man must stand up against the feminization of males and attack humanity and fight for our full freedoms – of movement, speech, and our own potential.
Above all, he believes in a growth mindset. A person’s career and life change and become what they want them to be if they are focused on growth. Putting in all the effort you can and dropping all resistance to change help you have your best shot at life.
Now, that’s all that matters.
