Jay Mullings, Helping Men Cope With and Curb Suicidal Thoughts

New statistics now reveal that many more men consider suicide than previously thought. Other statistics have shown that 13.42 per 100,000 individuals commit suicide in the US, with men dying 3.53x more than women. Men between the ages of 35-64 account for 40% of suicide.

However, little is known about why men are making these decisions yearly. There are probably several factors contributing to this rising storm. Unfortunately, it’s hard to learn that life itself has become a significant challenge and something to remain vigilant about. But is there hope?

Helping curb suicide

Jay Mullings owns Written Mirror Ltd, a creative media company that encourages honesty and self-reflection. He is also a multiple international award-winning Screenwriter/Director/Producer based in London. Jay is a well-renowned leader in helping curb suicide.

“I have tried to contribute to a change in the mindset with the Thought Book Series,” says Jay. He has authored two books, The Thought Book 1 & 2, and produced a feature film, ‘The JAM’ Jay would later forge the social media, branding, and musical strategies and output of Written Mirror Ltd, which runs into millions of cross-platform streams and views annually.

Overcome Your Limiting Mindset

Are your thoughts limiting your ability to progress? Or are your life challenges bringing you down, leaving you feeling overwhelmed? In life, challenges and obstacles are bound to show up. Jay is helping men overcome limiting mindsets through the two books he has authored.

“I have put out much information into the world about how people can begin with what they have, and see results, as opposed to fighting a losing battle with perfectionism,” says Jay. He advises people to remain mentally strong and confident, even when people or situations want them to be desperate or curse their luck.

As the owner of the Written Mirror, Jay advises people to be the man in the mirror. He always tries to be objective about what he sees. He tries to resist all socialized and preconceived views.

Your Mind is the Most Powerful Asset

“The mind is a powerful tool when married to purpose. I will meditate then levitate to get the job done,” says Jay. It is always your mind that leads you to have negative thoughts, such as those of suicide. Therefore, you need to train your mind to be constantly under control.

Teach yourself to always remain patient and embrace competence. Jay does a daily routine of repeating a mantra. He says it aloud and speaks clearly about what he wants from the universe. He also writes films and edits something daily to keep his mind on the course.

Change your thoughts and you change your entire mindset. When you guard your thoughts against the negative influence, then you can overcome your limiting mindset.
