Losing confidence is a greatest loss anyone can experience. It puts a shadow of doubts over you, gives voice to your insecurities and weakens your conviction. However, if you’re willing to persevere, move forward, set your ego aside and upskill yourself, success will be within your reach, regardless of where you come from.

Moe Mojahed is a serial entrepreneur, speaker and CEO of IMMIPRENEUR – the world’s first platform dedicated to helping immigrant entrepreneurs to scale their businesses in the US and Canada. Moe Mojahed has leveraged his 15 years of experience in marketing and sales to aid thousands of small business owners and turn them into Fortune 500 companies. Having come face to face with odds throughout his life has made him steadfast in dealing with them. He now aims to do the same for others by acting as a mentor and a guide.

Stress that led to loss of hair, and confidence

Moe Mojahed grew up in a well-to-do family in Iran. Entrepreneurial skills were ingrained in him since childhood. However, he couldn’t have an idyllic childhood because of the 8- year war between Iran and Iraq. The stress of living in what was then a war-torn country had detrimental effects on Moe’s health.

By the time he was seven, he had developed alopecia and lost his hair. It was a crucible for him, a moment that sapped him of his confidence. It was not until he was ten, when his mother spoke to his sports teacher, that his life started to move in a positive direction. With his mentor by his side, be forged ahead in sports. Success in sports led him to shed his insecurities and lack of confidence. At 18, he started interning at an import and export company.

After learning the tools of the trade and his heart set on carrying forward with his entrepreneurial dreams, he started his first company. But it was a turbulent time for Iran, sanctions were common, and he understood that having an entrepreneurial mindset won’t be enough in a country with a lagging economy and the ire of the western world.

Still set on materializing his desire of becoming an entrepreneur, he moved to Canada along with his family.

To say that he hit the ground running once he landed in Canada would be wrong.

Differentiating cultures and markets proved challenging. Above that, he suffered a massive financial loss, one that put a question mark over his future.

Not willing to give up on his family and armed with the self-belief that success is endless if motivation is there, Moe Mojahed decided to upskill himself. He imbibed hundreds of books and attended many classes to make sure that by the end, he had what it takes to be an entrepreneur in Canada.

Attaining Success and Realization

Moe’s efforts bore fruits, and he achieved his entrepreneurial dreams. It was then that a realization dawned on him.

What if I had someone to help me go through it all, a mentor of some kind.

Having a mentor by your side accelerates your business growth. Because when you have someone, you can reach out to for answers, moving forward becomes easy.

That realization gave him a purpose – helping immigrant entrepreneurs. With that idea, he created IMMIPRENEUR, a platform dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs from other countries to help them establish their businesses in US and Canada.

“All it takes is the access to the right tools, resources, and the desire to validate your idea in a new market to make it as an entrepreneur.”

With those words, Moe now aims to help 2000 immigrant entrepreneurs achieve their dreams by the end of 2023.

Be clear, have self-belief and have the will to act
